falstol cloth scarf

Heavily inspired by and with deep respect for the Bristol Cloth project, this scarf was an attempt to come up with a personal version. The weave structure is tabby, but clever colour arrangement using four different shades provides a unique and subtle pattern reminiscent of square dotted paper, which respects the paths of bold yellow stripes. Pink hemming adds contrast to the otherwise traditional semblance. Wide finished size, as well as the inclusion of tweed in yarn choice and a dense sett and beat make for a solid, warm fabric that can stave off the coldest winter winds.
